He was ready to take the next step — to build something of his own. After many conversations and a shared vision, we joined forces to bring that goal to life with the support and guidance of Vickers Company Group Limited.
With John’s hands-on expertise and our business experience — from operations to structure and long-term growth — A&V Flat Roofing Ltd has hit the ground running. We’ve already secured several major contracts, and the growth projection for the business looks strong.

Southampton Scaffold Solutions Ltd is a subsidiary of Vickers Company Group Limited, created not as a typical roofing venture, but as a strategic move to support and strengthen our existing businesses. Formed alongside a trusted friend and experienced scaffolder, the company was launched to serve as the primary scaffolding contractor for all our roofing projects in and around Hampshire.
By taking control of the scaffolding side of our operations, we’ve managed to maximise profitability — not just for Southampton Scaffold Solutions Ltd, but also for the roofing companies within our group. It allows us to keep everything in-house, which gives us full reliability, tighter coordination, and better service for both our roofing teams and the clients they serve.
While the business was built to support our roofing ventures, it has a strong foundation of its own. As our group of roofing companies continues to grow, Southampton Scaffold Solutions Ltd will grow naturally alongside them.
